At the piano most of the day melody / lyric writing for another track I’m working on with John (Williams)… If only I had the hands of someone who could play really well instead of averagely OK! Bit frustrating!! Hope all’s good with you.
Much Love xx

Lazy Afternoon
Just heard this on the radio – took me back in time. My Dad used to play this track, amongst others, in the car when I was a kid. I think it was from some kind of compilation album….he loved all things ‘sax’ and American Tenor Saxophonist Joe Henderson plays on this track ‘Lazy Afternoon’. Sadly Joe and Dad no longer with us… but sit back, close your eyes and drift to this beautiful sound…
Thank You John!
Enjoying writing lots at the moment with John Williams (pictured below)… a little system which involves lots of audio files flying back and forth across the ether and me bashing out ideas at the keyboard. A Big thanks to John for his encouragement about my playing – it serves a purpose but I’m certainly not great! Much love to all xx

Tucked myself up in bed early last night – a very painful strep throat and streaming cold. As I couldn’t sleep I decided to watch one of my favourite films, the very moving and funny, ‘Inside I’m Dancing’ starring the wonderfully talented actors James McAvoy and Steven Robertson (one of my favourite actors from films such as ‘True North’ and ‘Joyeux Noel’)….I laughed…I cried and eventually…I slept
