Monday 5th February 2018 ‘Because You Loved Me’….saying hello from a super sunny but super frosty and cold Somerset today 🙂
…can’t believe we’re already in February – the weeks seem to be speeding by! Anyway, hope all is good with you, and that maybe it’s a little warmer where you are on the planet 🙂

At this end, just posting a link to a track from the last album, recently unloaded to YouTube …”Because You Loved Me’ – recorded with Daniele and featuring Fraser Fifield on low whistle.

On another note, I’m currently in the middle of planning and mapping out the next album with the record company – so hopefully more info on that one soon! 🙂

Wednesday 20th December 2017 ‘Two Notes (to say that i miss you)…just a quick one to say that the digital EP has now been released and is available for download, at all the usual places.

This is a 5 track digital EP, with 4 tracks co-written by Daniele and me (‘Two Notes’, ‘The First Time, ‘Til The End’ and ‘Catch My Fall’) together with our version of the Sting classic ‘Fields Of Gold.

A very big thanks to all involved in putting this together 🙂

Friday 9th December 2016 ‘Grab the popcorn!”…really pleased to announce the full release, today, of the new album “When We Are One” 🙂
…thought it might be nice to have something to share with you, from the album itself, and so here is the YouTube link to one of the original tracks from the album, with its accompanying video.
This is a song that I co-wrote with Daniele, called “Dancing For The Oceans”, the video for which was filmed in Italy.
A big thanks to everyone involved in the filming of this video…we certainly had some fun making it – even if it did involve some uncomfortably wet underwear at the end of the shoot, for those of us who ended up in the water!! LOL

Thursday 20th October 2016 ‘Somewhere in the Aegean’……been buzzing around the Greek Islands for the past few days – another few to go.

Whilst I’ve been here, some amazing album mixes have been coming through from our incredible, USA based, mixing engineers Donny and Tom.
These are the final mixes for the new album and include some recently recorded sax and whistle parts, courtesy of Fraser Fifield.
Dodgy wifi aside, it has been great to listen to some beautiful lush sounds coming in on a daily basis – a big thanks to all the incredibly talented musicians who have given of their time and talent on this project – I’m hugely appreciative  🙂

…and so for now…..the sun has set on yet another beautiful day, and somewhere around here there’s a bar…and a Tequila Sunrise with my name on it LOL!

Friday 9th September 2016 ‘The Italian Job’ (part 3!)….padding around in my dressing gown listening to album mixes, this morning, before heading off to the studio for what should be my final vocal recording session (been in the studio over the past two weeks).
…pretty much at the final stages with this album – looking at a November release (hopefully).

So far, although the album recordings originated in Italy it has, in the last couple of months, involved the USA (Nashville) and is now currently being worked on in Bath UK. The next stop on ‘the tour’ should be Edinburgh, before the tracks can finally be mixed 🙂

A big thanks to all the musicians so far, who have given of their time and talent in Italy and Nashville…and a big thanks to Seb at The Riverside Studios for engineering my additional vocal sessions over the last two weeks.
